I became aware of XPS through meeting Andy Lickiss at a networking event (he’s a lovely chap). I am a Limited business operating with a network of associates so must juggle all the technical aspects of my business on my own. This includes my pc, having backed up data, printer, website and all the things that could possibly go wrong with any of these. My business would come to a standstill if any of these elements weren’t working. As my business has grown, I have realised how dependent I am on these and had entered into an ‘ad hoc’ arrangement with a small IT company. The fact that I have moved to XPS and been extremely happy since is because all the things the ‘other’ company said they would assist with … well… they failed on every count and caused me lost time and lost trust in third party support. Cost, failed promises, not answering calls or coming back to me (even with ‘urgent’ requests) were but some of the issues I faced as well as the expense from the ‘other’ provider which was considerable for a one-person business owner. We employed XPS Solutions to look at our back-up system, which we were quickly outgrowing. We were visited by two team members wo proceeded to install an agreed piece of software. They then gave us full training on how to use the software to its full potential. The program itself if very good value for money and is the perfect solution for us.
However, it was the customer service that really impressed us. Whist XPS were at our office they looked at all other aspects of our hardware and software needs. We were made aware of issues we were not even aware of; and now have extra pieces of upgraded hardware and software, which has undoubtedly saved us hassle, time and money in the long term.
